This group is definitely rocking and rollin! Congratulations and much continued success to all on the scale, BUT most importantly a new healthy mind set and balanced perspective for long term change. 4 months out - I am so happy to be experiencing less is more of high quality nutrients on my plate! It is so liberating to no longer be focused on rich dense foods with dessert included.

I'm at 2 months out and only down 25 lbs. Surgery day-207. Today 182. I had a stall that began my second week for 12 days. Rather disappointed overall.

I'm in the same boat. 5 weeks out from bypass and only down 15 lbs. I've followed the plan. My stall started at week two and was so frustrating.

I’ve lost over 130lbs, 14 months out from surgery and 15 months out from initial consult. I weigh less than I did when I was in high school. :-)

I had RNY gastric bypass 6 1/2 weeks ago and I am down 27 pounds since the day of surgery. The pace may be slower than some others but I am very happy with my progress.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
