Good luck girl!! Wishing you easy procedure and quick recovery!! Welcome to the losers bench!! ☺️

Tomorrow is my day! I am so excited to begin this new journey. Good Luck to everyone who is having surgery today and tomorrow.

Good luck!

And Good Luck tomorrow and Good Healing afterwards. Update us after its over, we'd love your take on the whole proceedings!
Well - All ready for my surgery tomorrow - check in @ 11am - I’m also so tired of the liquids - made mistake of going into Winco and stocked up on Jello/Milk/ and sugarless Jolly Ranchers - it seems to help with the cotton mouth and breath...But then everything hit me - the Deli - the Hot food area - My granddaughter kept asking me if I wanted a taste - then she’d say - “Oh, you can’t “.... I ran out of that store! So, got everything ready - now just have to hang on till manana- Hope everyone has a great night - Pray all those recovering are doing well - ????
Good luck to all those still having surgery this month. I hope everything goes well.
To all those who have already had surgery, how are things going?
I had my bypass on April 11th. At my 2-week follow-up appointment last week, I was down 10.5 pounds. My doctor said I was on track, they hope to see a 10% loss of excess weight at that first appointment. I was at 14%. I weighed this morning and I have lost 4 more pounds since then. So, while I’m not losing a huge amount, I am very glad to see the scale going in the correct direction. ??
I am eating soft foods (cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, cheese, eggs, tuna, etc). I am a pescatarian (no meat except seafood) so I am struggling to find a variety of protein choices.
I am not in any pain and my energy level is almost back to normal.
My most annoying problem (and I never thought I would have this problem!) is not wanting to eat at all. I know I have to have protein, but it is hard to force myself to eat sometimes. It is an odd feeling. I am struggling with not wanting any food. I get my 64 oz liquids in easily, though.

Has anyone hit the dreaded 3 week stall yet? I have. It’s a HUGE bummer and discouraging but I am trying to remember it’s totally normal. I’ve been stalled for 7 days now and I am 3.5 weeks out.

While some of you are tired of liquids what I would give to get my first water!

Anyone else having problems with urinating on day of surgery?

Are you at least getting the sponge swabs? ?
