I have Medicare and Medicaid they only require 3 month nutritionist. I started on Feb and my surgery is April 30th. Also remember all the pre appointments you have to see depending on your doctor

Surgery is scheduled for April 30th just sign consent with doctor got all my paperwork for surgery. Hospital will call me 1 day before to give me time. So excited cant not wait, so proud of myself I quit smoking too!!!

Hello ladies I'm 4 days post OP and I'm feeling great today!!! Started my proteins today and the only problem is when I sip the spasm in my stomach dont help. Will that go away soon? And when I sip and it hurts do I keep sipping or stop?

Had my surgery and everything is good but the gas pain on my chest was unbearable. I dont think in my life I've ever felt this type of pain. I thought I was having a heart attack. I feel much better now waiting for my leak test in about 4 hours so I can drink at least water. I havent had anything to drink since midnight day before. Hope everyone is healing nicely.

Hi I'm having surgery on the 30th too

I am confused because I got a surgery date for 4/30 but I still have a couple of test to do. And my last nutritionist is next Tuesday. I just dont get it. And when I asked her dont u have to submit to insurance to get approved? She said you will be approved dont worry about it. So i am not even too excited that is so soon I'm afraid to get excited. ???

My coordinator today gave me my surgery date and she hasn't even submitted to insurance. When I asked her why I have a date before sending to insurance she said you are ok you will be approved

Everything has been moving so fast I had my 1st surgeon appt on the 22nd of Feb have been going to all the test. I only had to do 3 nutritionist and they counted the visit with my doctor as 1 and just came home from the pre OP class so my 3rd one is on april2nd after that I get my date I am hoping

Hey guys I just wanted to know how did u guys find out your surgery date. Was it after all the tests were done? I'm halfway there and I wanted to call and ask but dont want to be annoying. Should I call

I dont have a date yet but my ins coordinator said If everything comes back good then will be in April. I am not even nervous I'm just very excited to get my life back.

So I went to my consult today bc my primary said I was a candidate for the surgery but the doctor said my BMI is 38 and I need to be at 40 so my insurance covers me. At the end of the appointment very discouraged I asked him what's my height and he said 5'4 I said no my height is 5.3 but he just didnt want to deal with me at the end. Should I get another doctor? What can I do
