  • Congrats! I know you’re excited. I’m a couple days from stage 3 and I’m soooo looking forward to it! I’m ready to chew again. I’m also interested in what recipes everyone has to share ?

Ricotta bake. Everyone seems to have a variation of this during this stage. I also had white or pink beans cooked very tender. Enjoy the new food phase!

Yes. Just brown butter ( tiny amount) canned pumpkin and savory spices cooked until hot and pumpkin is dried out a little. Eat like mashed potatoes.

Different but it might turn out to be tasty and something we'll make more than once. Appreciate every recipe or hint given on here.

Cottage cheese

Tuna (I like to get the flavored packets)

Broccoli tots

Chili

Those have been some of my personal favorites which I was able to add back into my diet.

Congrats on reaching this point! It's so exciting! :)

I found what worked for others didnt usually work for me.. exact food item wise.. figure out what you can live with and start with that. You should have a list from your surgeon.. I think that's basic material we all got.

I was advised to start off with egg beaters (basically egg whites in disguise) vs. whole eggs because they are easier to digest.

Anyone have a safe potatoe soup recipe for a small amount? I’m about to start adding in yogurt, applesauce, cottage cheese so I’m guessing soup is ok.. gonna call my office in the am
