Yesterday I had the best salad of my life 😍· 4 replies

It was just done perfectly and at a diner no less. Walnut crusted salmon, sliced beets, goat cheese and dried cranberries over spinach. No pics because my phone is not working properly... But it was big enough for 2 and still eating it today!
No dressing necessary

Sounds delish! I guess there was enough moisture in the salmon and beets to forego dressing.

And the goat cheese was warm spinach was washed... Someone knew how to make a salad. It was perfect and I'm picky about salads especially $$$ ones

Reading Roxane Gay's article on Medium really helped me to decide to get my VGS. I decided to write her a fan letter and she wrote back! ~~ Hi Jessica, You're more than welcome and I hope you are recovering well and feeling good in your body. Roxane ~~ Hi Roxane, I wanted to thank you. I had VGS surgery four months ago and I am doing great. Reading about your experiences made me realize that even though I am a Health at Any Size advocate and a feminist, that it was OK for me to get the surgery if I wanted it. I’ve made great strides in reducing my chronic back pain. So THANK YOU!! xo, Jessica· 0 replies

Well WTF.· 1 reply
It looks like for the past I don't know how long I've been reporting myself taller than I really am. Apparently I am only 5'1", and NOT 5'2" as I've always thought. My driver's licence says 5'1", but that was back when I was 16, and for some reason, I have been thinking I grew a bit after that and was 5'2".
So that screws up with all my BMI goal weights. Great. Now I've got to re-calculate. Boo.

I recently found out I was 5'1" instead of 5'2" which I had always thought I was. The only good news was it helped me qualify for the 40+ BMI needed for insurance to cover my surgery.
