Apple Watch - advice/recommendations/reviews?

I’m considering leaving behind my long standing Fitbit tradition in favor of an Apple Watch. I tried the Fitbit versa but had to return it after it kept glitching and malfunctioning, even after I got a replacement.

I’ve been wanting an Apple Watch for a long time and am leaning toward going for it, and I’d love to hear from others who have one!

Do you have an Apple Watch? Are you glad you purchased it? What are your favorite features/functions? Are there ways it helps you with your WLS process? Is it worth springing for the GPS+cellular option, or is the more basic one enough?

I love my apple watch! I bought it used from craigslist. It's just the series 1 but does everything I need it to. I love the activity app. There's also a icon for myfitnesspal that makes it easy to log your Water.

How did I miss this? I love my Apple Watch! I’m on my second, as I upgraded this year. My first was a Series 0 and still worked. I just wanted the Water resistance of the newer models and the quickness of them, too. I really like it for workout purposes and I also like that it nags me to stand up and move around every hour (I work at a desk).

Then of course, there’s other fun stuff like walkie talkie and seeing message and email notifications.

I know some of these features are available on Fitbits at a much lower price. For me, I use other Apple products- so it made sense to go with the watch.

I'm a little over a month in to having my apple watch and I LOOOOOOVE it!! I'm kind of obsessed with the activity rings, and still learning all the other cool stuff it can do!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
