I'm 8 days including 2 day pre op 6 days post op 13lbs so far

Surgery was on Monday. Came home from hospital late Tuesday, which was good because the hospital didn't have anything other than Water and veggie broth packets to eat (they kept bringing me Jello - which I can't eat because I'm a pescatarian). So far, so good. Got my Protein and liquids in yesterday and am on track for today. Took my first Vitamin today. Maybe over did the walking, though. I'm tired because I'm having trouble sleeping - I usually toss and turn, and can only sleep on my right side now. But that'll pass. All in all, I feel a lot better than I thought I would.

Thank you @notmyname for telling me what it’s like. I’m getting ready to be dis charged from the hospital and I’m wondering how I’m going to feel at home.

Is it me or my mind I'm 6 days post op and I'm already tired of these liquids and wish I could just chew on something already.

I don't feel hungry yet. It's only been 4 days since my surgery. I'm so done with the liquid. If I could have my Protein Shakes maybe I will feel more satisfied

From my one week on Clear Liquids until my surgery I lost 10 lbs. Since surgery I've lost another 5 lbs. It's so exciting.

The sugar free popsicles are great. The broth I have to eat at room temp or it will make my stomach ache. I just need to work on my Protein. I've only had 20 grams today
