Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability

  • Popular Post

Hey y'all! Anyone and everyone is welcome to jump in and join us.

This is the Intermittent Fasting DAily Menu/Results/Accountability Thread. It's where a few of us (or many) are going to log in and encourage each other while we experiment with our own IF plans. You can list or talk about anything--not just your food. I look forward to adding in HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and core exercises to my walking plan while practicing IF. So expect to hear about that too. ;) hehe I expect some of us will talk about the known IF side-effects like insomnia, circadian rhythm disturbance, etc. It's all good! Let's hack this IF mofo! mkay? :D

There is not any 1 specific IF plan--there are so many to choose from, so this is a BYOIFP (bring-your-own-IF-plan) and join the fun! This is the thread where we'll post our daily menus and maybe some piccys at times! We can discuss progress, issues we might notice, look at how we may want to refine our own personal plans. I do think you should be healed from surgery and have your doctor's and RD's blessings to try something like this and you should do a ton of research and reading about Intermittent Fasting.

IF isn't only about weight loss, it's about taking specific measures to limit either quantities, calories, macros, or sometimes only consciously altering eating windows/schedules in order to effect metabolic change and reduce inflammation and improve health markers.

Ok, let's do this thang!!!

It's been a while since I dropped off any more videos to help the newbies find information about metabolism intermittent fasting hormone balance and the likes plus he ain't bad to look at...

Back to 155, y'all but it is hell week (funny I'm not ravenous like usual) but I noticed I'm sooooo lazy when it comes to food. I need to get it together. My devolving faux sushi should have been a sign. But no. If it's not easy like salad or yogurt, I don't want it. That pizza was the best im gonna do for the week. ?. No I'll get it together, maybe some beans (out the can over a campfire)

How is everyone else doing?

Well done! Does it matter if you have a week of lazy food? Some protein on a plate and fluids until you get your cooking mojo back?

This is my life. I struggled with cooking for one pre WLS. Now post op, I have made myself only a handful of meals in the last 10 months. So much effort for so little food! I'm more than happy to cook for others, especially since not a boyfriend is happy to take the leftovers!

All is well here! I had a new low on the scale yesterday. It's not due to mindful eating, so I have to credit cardio. If that's the case I'm screwed in the non literal sense, since It'll be two weeks until I see not a boyfriend again.

Traveled last week, so here you go, airport food!

Not judging here (super envy)--but um, it does kinda "read" like a meal from Luby's aka "Song of the South". We pretty much believe if it "ain't carby or fatty" it has no use. And rice and gravy + mac and cheese + corn would be part of any last meal I could plan. It would probably also have fried okra and Salsbury or smothered steak. :D There. I said it. :D

Luby's in its glory days was the quintessential home cookin' cafeteria you could go to and get all of your cravings satisfied with one tray...#misstheolddays

As a transplanted Yankee, I never understood the appeal of Luby's. I didn't like their food at all. That said, Kitty may claim to be from SoCal, but she seems to have a strong affinity to deep south eating! I think she's got some Southern roots in her family tree!
