You are so gorgeous now you could do adult entertainment. Just saying you have unlimited potential now.

Dude are you serious? The more I read your comments the more I wonder if your just some POS troll trying to get a rise out of people here. Why would you think that is an appropriate thing to say to anyone?

Why is it inappropriate? I didnt say anything indecent. And I am no troll. I was complementing her on her accomplishment and said that she could find work in a legal profession.

@J San Thank you for speaking up on my behalf. A little uncomfortable to read that my progress pics would mean I could join the porn industry...just proud of my progress and have been going to the gym a lot more lately and just wanted to show my 1 year progress. Thanks for being a gentleman though!

I am truly sorry to have offended you, please accept my apology. It was meant as a compliment only and not as a rude comment.

In a civilized community a person suggesting a woman do something like that is rude. Are you a grown man or a child? If you can't see the issue with it there is no reason for me to try to explain anything. As far as I'm concerned there is no reason for you to be on this forum. Your issues are deeper than anyone here can help you with. Go seek therapy if you even care about trying to be a better human.

Thank you for sharing. Im 6 days post op and need some encouragement. Being several decades older, a higher weight and very lax skin, my results will not be as spectaculqr, but it has to be better, right?

@Kahkeetsee The beginning is THE roughest, once you are healed and able to eat and lose the weight, it will all have been worth it! I have been doing a lot of weight lifting and using Vitamin E oil and jojoba oil to help tighten. I still have some loose skin on my abdomen, legs and arms...pictures can be deceiving. I've been doing weight lifting though to combat it a little.

Just stick to it! Eat healthy and exercise, take lotsss of progress pics of yourself and the scale so you can look back and be proud of yourself.

You will change and grow as a person and become stronger mentally, physically and emotionally.

You will be surprised at yourself. This is for YOU. YOUR experience. TAKE IT ALL IN. DO NOT LET ANYONE TAKE IT FROM YOU OR MAKE YOU FEEL BADLY. YOU DESERVE TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF AND LOVE YOURSELF.

I remind myself of that everyday and it wasn't until a month ago that I feel like I've evolved into this strong bad ass.

I'm un-apologetically growing into the woman I have always wanted to be. I don't regret it for a second.

I said I was sorry. If you have spent time reading in these forums you have seen how people interact and say things that others do not like or get offended by. I said something wrong, but I have as much a right to be in this forum as anyone. I make a valuable contribution just like everyone else. That being said, I am not perfect and should not have said what I said.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
