Best Decision I’ve Made with My Health!

Recommended Posts

I know I’ve already updated on my progress, but today was a substantial day for me. I’ve been the same number, and same pant size for a while. Stalls don’t bother me. However for some reason I looked in the mirror today and just felt different. It was a “wow, you look like a completely different person!” moment.

For those of you waiting for, or suffering through the first few weeks... it DOES get better.one day you will wake up, and suddenly realize you have a whole new life waiting for you. It’s a wonderful feeling!

Below are 2 old pics from the past year, as well as two pictures from today! (Ignore my husband in the last, he isn’t a fan of my new found comfort with pictures LOL)

Happy weekend everyone, I wish you all great happiness 😊

Oh, man! Your face has changed so much! That's awesome!

Thanks! I feel like I've lost most of my weight there LOL! In fact, the first few weeks were so weird because it came from there first so I had this tiny head and big ol body. Thankfully the rest of me is starting to slim up a bit to match :)

I’m going through the process for vsg & I don’t have a surgery date yet. Sometimes I doubt myself for wanting the surgery or I start having negative thoughts. Your post is very positive & inspiring! Thank you for sharing your pictures & your success & positive outlook!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
