7 days Pre op liquid diet

Good morning everyone. Today I start my delicious, enjoyable and filling liquid diet . If you have gone thru this stage, please tell me how to get thru it?. Anyone starting today too?

Hi all! I started mine yesterday. I would say the worst part for me is actually the headaches versus the hunger. I think the headaches are mostly from caffeine withdrawal but I know you can also get them when you lower your caloric intake as much as we are now. One thing that I found is that when I'm having hunger and the Protein Shake and endless amounts of Water isn't doing much, I heat up some chicken or beef broth- I think the warmth helps soothe my stomach. You can do it, stay focused!

I miss my Protein Shakes they kept me full.....this liquid diet is for the birds

Stay busy....walks, showers, baths, naps, cleaning - stay out of the kitchen, don't watch tv with food commercials, don't drive by Lonestar Steakhouse and smell the grilling!!!!

It sucks, but you will survive...

Started this past Friday, but officially don't have to start until tomorrow. Hang in there and I agree with stay busy. Occupy your mind. I asked for extra work at work. I checked out a few library books....

I start my 10 day liquid diet on Sunday. My buddy did 14 days said after the 3rd day was not problem. I get sugar free Jello and Popsicles at least but I bet im sick of them by then
