Purée days - how do you get enough protein?

If I can only eat about 1/4 c of anything - how does 3 or 4 times that quarter of a cup add up to the right amount of Protein for the day? My doc is asking for 90g of Protein a day for me right now.

That is why most people still have to supplement their protein, in some way, shakes bars, puddings, something. I think you are making things more difficult if you are trying to get all your protein in with purees.

What are mug cakes?

Basically Protein Powder baking powder and some kind of milk put into a mug put in a microwave. Where it turns into a cake in a cup sort of. There's tons of different recipes , and a bunch of threads in here.

Personally I use a scoop of Syntrax matrix, 2 tablespoons coconut flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Then jsut enough milk to make it thick, and nuke for around 30 seconds. It's a creative way to eat Protein powder and have a healthy protein cakey treat.

Honestly it's been a game changer for me. I find it more filling than shakes, more enjoyable because I can eat it, and honestly most of the time it's like a treat despite it effectively being a cup of protein powder

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
