1st day of pre-op diet - 8 hours in - absolutely starving!!!!

Hi All!

First day of my pre-op diet today and I’m really struggling!

Feel so weak, tired and hungry!

Does anyone have any advice on how to curb the hungry/weak feeling? Will it get better?!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you!

I had a seven day pre op diet off 1,000 calories up to 100 grams of carbs 3 meals a day
Blend ice in your shakes- it’ll make them thicker and you’ll be a bit more full (like a frappe)
Sand I feel spoiled with my nicer prediet, I shall punish myself by doing,it for nearly 5 weeks and my fat little NASH liver will be 12% smaller, shinier and easier to pry out of the way for my surgeo. See I found an opinion from smart researching doctors that the liver diminishes 2.4% for every, week you prediet. Stuck a sign on my fridge to encourage me on. And now, having finished this news, it's back to the chilled protein shake for me!?
I have also heard that if you blend peanut butter in the shakes it makes them taste better and helps you stay full longer. Has anyone tried this?
