    Nausea vomiting one year out

Rny isn’t open surgery... mine was done with two very small incisions about an inch long— that’s it!!
  4. Only my husband knows. Rny dec 2017. I started with an extreme healthy diet change and robust exercise routine prior to surgery so folks really didn’t question more than that. The way I see it it’s none of their business. Now over two years out it’s up to me to keep it off.
  5. After WLS, I Gain A Little Weight When I ... eat too much peanut butter :/ But it’s so good ;) ... oh and vodka haha

    Protein shakes

I still drink one for breakfast and my nutritionist is fine with it. I drink it for convenience not necessarily for protein amount. I am just over a year out. Chocolate premiere is my favorite but I also like caramel . Vanilla is good to mix in other things

Smooth move tea works— REAALLLLY WELL haha so be close to home for a few hours!! 😂 Also be careful with the fruit- a lot of sugar so don’t eat it after surgery until cleared. Good luck - it’ll be here before you know it!

    HELP

Ditto on getting help sooner rather than later. This journey is so complex and can be difficult to navigate as is, getting help would definitely be a benefit . I am sure They’ve seen it all before and can help. Get help before it is further along and much harder 💕
  20. Marshall’s and TJMaxx are great go-to’s for work clothes. You’re going to go through them pretty fast so try to get pieces that mix and match best. Congrats 🤗
  21. You sleep the first day and I felt ok to be alone . You’re in the hospital— if you need assistance, ring you buzzer for a nurse. I was fine other than feeling like 10,000 sit ups so getting up was a bit hard for the first couple of days but nothing crazy. You’ll be fine

    How long

Congrats! 🎉 For me it took about 6 -8 weeks for it to feel “normal”
