80 pounds down at today’s weigh in!

Recommended Posts

So I weighed in today at the gym & I’m down 80 pounds so far. I’m quite please but I still have a long way to go. I’ve lost body fat & gained muscle mass which totally ROCKS as it was a big concern for me. I’m doing 50 minutes of high heart rate cardio 5-6 times a week & weights twice a week. I feel like I eat more than I should at times but I can’t argue with my results so far. I also have been eating lean Protein with fruits and veggies almost exclusively. My 3 month appointment is on the 4th of May which is actually 3 1/2 months. So far so good!

So do I. Congrats man!! I especially like this story because we are the same height. Currently I'm about 20lbs heavier than you were at your heaviest but should be down to that by date of surgery. Good luck on your journey, I look forward to following your success.

The gym has been good & intensity is increasing nicely. My biggest fear is an injury so I’m being very careful so as not to have any setbacks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
