And slim, I LOVE the new avi!! I haven't been that attracted to a cartoon sine "Wonder Woman" on Superfriends.

I feel honored, and oddly freaked out by that admission.:)

SNT--not sure how or why the soap in the bed works----but it does for us. Actually it works other times too!!! LOL

He does nothing "with" the soap, it is something in it I guess. I say it works other times because the first long motorcycle ride in the Spring, he invariably cramps up right where your legs join in the groin.....from the non use during the winter I guess. Well he took a bar of soap from a motel, the small ones, broke it in half dropped half in each pocket....no more cramping.

My MIL gets cramps in her arches when she takes off her shoes at night, so she says she rests her foot on a bar of soap and it helps.....

I have even heard people say it helped with their restless leg syndrome....but have no first hand experience with that. The lack of cramps from it being in the bed, I can personally attest to!

When I finally decide I seriously need to exercise again, and over do....which I do a couple times a year or so (!)----it helps me!

But like I say, you do not have to ingest anything, nor buy any high priced product.....and if it doesn't work for you, you can still use the soap.....so there really is no harm in trying it!

Hope it helps some of you like it did us!

Kat

I try every year that we don't go to see family or have family over to suggest that we go out to dinner for Thanksgiving and my DH and DS just get this horrified look on their faces... If I suggested a vegetarian Thanksgiving, I think they'd both petition to have me committed. :)

I'm afraid that I would have to support them in that petition, Donna. I mean, we're homies and all, but vegitarian Thanksgiving?!? You're from Texas for goodness' sake!!!

Haha yes, off the island. We don't know everything about your relationship, of course, but if my husband ever said that shit to me, he'd be out on the street with just the clothes on his back. No one deserves to be emotionally bullied like that, especially by some one who is supposed to care for you..... just my 2 cents....Oh make that 3 cents, you DO look great, for the record.

We don't have turkey day here, but being married to an american means we have to do SOMETHING to Celebrate, right? So we're going out for pizza haha

That is an awesome tradition. My family has a looooooong tradition of ordering pizza on Christmas eve. I know, it's weird...

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
