when i got home from hospital yesterday, i weighed myself in the evening and the scale said i gained 12 pounds!!! i was freaking out especially when I've been on a liquid diet all week and at hospital all i drank was Water for 3 days!

I know JUST how you're feeling. When they weighed me the day before I left the hospital I had gained 10 lbs! I was distraught! But it came off quickly so I think it was fluids from both the surgery and the post-op IV. Congrats on making it through. ^_^

They pump you full of fluids during surgery— you’ll see that all fall off quickly! Glad you’re feeling beter

Hi Glam, liquids weigh 1kg/ ltr so the point put across my our fraternity is correct. IMHO where you weigh yourself can give different results. Best to weigh on hard level floors. Also your scales may be out too. Good luck and don't worry too much brave girl !

I met with my surgeon on Friday.. I've completed all my tests and all my nutrition meetings as well as meeting the weight loss requirements for my insurance. We are officially submitting to insurance for approval and I was given a surgery date of January 16th 2020 (13 days before my birthday!) Fingers crossed all goes through

Ok, now im getting old...my body gets me up at my normal 5am dog walk even when it's the weekend, vacation, and most importantly when I'm sick. So now that I have more energy, my body wants to make sure I suffer even longer during the day when I have a cold! Damn being healthy again! (:D)
