Someone had some fried chicken [emoji490] on the bus and was eating them! [emoji40] .2 weeks like this! Lord have mercy! This is going to be a though one! It is shocking to see how we sooo depend of foods! I need XXXtra strength [emoji123] for this one!

Wow. Are you allowed to eat hot greasy foods on commuter buses in the USA?

It's a rare thing in Australia that you can eat on a bus. Usually Water only. No food, no juice, no soft drinks or soda drinks. (The companies don't like extra cleaning expense.)

I know the temptations of other eating around you. Today my mom was eating and candy bar and saying yum yum and telling me how good it was. Well I’m not that nice of a daughter in the first place I stopped the car on the side of the road and told her to get out of shut up. She has done everything to undermind my diet. She is bound and determined for me to fail. My mom has done this my Hole life.

I am so sorry this is what it is...however you now have this wole board to rely on as support. I did not tell my Mom for similar reasons, she would say 'Oh you can just eat less, try to eat less..." etc

Your mom is a jerk, glad you stood up for yourself.

Admittedly the pre-op diet is hard to do but you can do it. After a couple days it is easier, not pleasant but easier.

Temptations are great, as you're testing yourself. Remember, that after the surgery those feelings will go way - almost no hunger at all. A tiny stomach which won't fit more than 2 bites, and overeating will hurt a lot.

BUT - in a few months you will be actually able to eat virtually anything you will see - from greasy chicken to a cake - just as much as your new stomach would fit. However, I doubt that you will want that :) It will be a brand new you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
