Considering you're working out so much, have you had big problems with loose skin?

i have to lose 188 and work out 3-4 times a week so I'm hoping that will help

I started working out at 7 weeks post op because i wanted to avoid having so much extra skin. I still do have a little on my arms, inner thighs and stomach but im sure it would have been so much worse if i never started exercising.

You are so inspiring! Our stats are similar, except I'm just 8 weeks out today... nowhere near goal. I can only dream of looking half as good as you!

Hope you don't mind my asking what size jean you are wearing...

Wow...would you mind sharing what your diet is like? Did you lift weights at the gym?

My surgeons diet was after the soft solids when i introduced solids was Protein and vegtables only till 3 months post op, then i was able to introduce fruit but only aloud one fruit a day and no carbs (bread, pasta and rice) till 6 months post op. Now i still stay on high protein lower carb diet, no real sugar only substitutes, greek yogurts, cheese sticks, eggs, whole grains and sweet potatoes only, i also try to drink as much Water as possible. Minimum of 64 oz to at least a gallon 120 oz.
I do love to use weights at the gym and im working on building muscle since that helps to burn fat.

Thank you! You can do it, just stay dedicated and dont give in to temptation. I dont mind...My jeans are a size 12 but they are getting loose. I started in a 5X/26/28 jean.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
