Body weight scale recommendations

Recommended Posts

I'm celebrating my 2 year surgery anniversary in a few days and want to Celebrate by buying myself an excellent body weight scale. I've been using an old WW digital scale for years and the thing that bugs me is that I can weigh myself three times in a row and get three different readings on it.

So - what's your suggestion for the Best Scale Ever - or the best type of scale (digital? balance beam? analog?)

I have this Body Analyzer 1. It was sponsored by a few youtube channels, where you can get 10-15% -off. I posted the link for it below. However before buying it, check youtube vloggers for discount codes ;)

I have a Withings. It connects to my phone via wifi or bluetooth (don't remember which) and syncs with My Fitness Pal. I've had it a year and love it. I'm not sure how accurate it is on body fat, though. But it's a great scale. https://www.withings.com/us/en/products/body

I was at Target a few months ago and I found a Weight Watchers digital blue tooth scale on clearance for less than 20 bucks. It does weight, BMI, muscle mass, and a few other things. I really like it.

We carry Yunmai wireless scales and the infamous Escali scales in the BariatricPal Store. I personally use the Yunmai and love it!

I have been a fan of the FitBit Aria for years! If you already have a FitBit, it syncs to the app and updates for you!

I hate my Fitbit Aria... I never get consistent weights even after "recalibrating" it like they suggest if this happens... this morning I got 8 different weights that were up to a 6lb difference... so frustrating especially since it wasn't a cheap scale.< /p>

If you buy a wireless one, understand the technology first, especially if you live in a rural area. I had one that used AT&T cell towers but I'm in the boonies with Verizon towers. scale worked, but would never transmit.

Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
