I finally have a date! I feel like I'm being swept off my feet. I keep hearing the date over and over in my ears. I cant believe a year ago, I didn't even know there was such a cure, and here I am about to start living the healthy life I deserve. Its becoming real and I absolutely can not wait. I only know a few people who have gone through this, but I would welcome any comments or support!

Had my surgery yesterday and I'm feeling pretty good, need to walk more but I'm so tired from the meds that it's hard to get up but I'm doing pretty good on my liquids. How's all the other post-op people doing?

I've lost 31lbs since I started surgery prep, 13.9 since I started the pre-op diet 8 days ago...

I'm ready to get this moving!

My Surgery is February 21st. I am so excited. My doctor has not had me on any pre-op diet but I go in on the 15th for all my pr-op testing so I am sure he will talk to me about that then.

EGD on February 9th went very well. (I don't remember a thing). Lol. Visit with the anesthesiologist on Monday, then Surgery the next day. Tuesday February 14, 2017. I thought this day would never come. I'm so ready for this. Bring it on. I'm can't wait to start living a healthy and more active life. I can see the future and it's full of bike rides, hiking with my fur babies and kayaking with my hubby. Best wishes to all. What a great community, can't wait to share the rest of my journey with you.

I'm scheduled for the 28th too.. my nerves are kicking in..

Day 2 home for me was rough too. That overly full feeling is all of the nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas that they used to inflate our bellies so they could see when doing the procedure. It was the hardest part of recovery. I had minimal pain from the surgery itself. I wasn't prepared for the gas pains.
