Had my sleeve on the 17th, home and feeling great! Eating my purees fairly well, had its almost completely gone, sleeping well. Lost 19lbs since pre op! So happy with my progress [emoji171]

I got home last night! I slept wo well, that I went straight through my alarm this morn! So thankful that my hubby took the boys to school <3 Anyway, I lost 5 lbs since surgery 2/17 and I am trying to put my current weight in, but I can't figure out how to with this new layout... Anybody have any ideas?

I'm 50 and had my surgery this week on Feb 17. I have thoughts and fears, but I also have 2 preteen boys that will still need me for many years... That's what I'm thinking about. I've been obese since I was 3. I have to do this.

Try an unflavored one like injury or the one at GNC . See if you can stand to add them to your drinks or foods

Hi, I'm Dawn, I live in Savannah, I have a supportive husband and two preteen boys [emoji1] I was sleeved Friday the 17th. I've been severely to morbidly obese all my life. So thankful for this new opportunity God has blessed me with!

I'm packing my bags today! Drive to FL in the morning, meet the surgeon, Friday is my day!!!!!

For me the first 3 days were a BEAST! I had a migraine from the caffeine withdrawal... After that I've done well. I found Atkins Lift drinks at Big Lots for $2, they sell EVERYWHERE else for about$7-8. I've found that they help slot if I get hungry in the afternoon, before dinnertime. Also I make my job every afternoon so it's ready when my boys go to bed! You'll do fine, better than you expect!

Try something hot. Tea, broth, SF hot cocoa.

My surgeon said we should have a card with a note near our license saying NO NG TUBE, BARIATRIC SURGERY, no I'D BRACELET needed

My surgery is this Friday the 17th, I think I'm prepared, I've done everything I was supposed to and I'm surviving the 15 day pre op diet. Nervous? I don't know if it's that, I'm 50 and have a lot of work ahead of me. I've been overweight since I was 3, seriously. I don't think I'm anxious, just ready for change. Ready for this opportunity to make changes that can last this time. You're gonna do great, just breathe, keep researching, keep reading these posts, pray, and get ready for a new life!

Bahahahahahaha! I've found that I have to STAY AWAY from the store as much as possible! It's hard because I have 2 pre-teen locust childs! You Go Conan!

I am having my surgery on Friday this week! But I did buy some Bariatric chewables from my local Walgreens and they are $27! They are the only brand of Bariatrics that Walgreen carries in the store. I also found that GNC has a sublingual B12 for about $10 that I'll buy when I get home.

7 days to go! I've lost 31lbs since I started surgery prep, 13.9 since I started the pre-op diet 8 days ago... I'm ready to get this moving!

My psychologist have me this list to follow. I made it my screensaver so that it's always front and center 50 year old me!!
