I'm having pain on my right side. Also a small portion of my tummy is numb and it feels strange. I've been home since the 16 of February. I bought a brand new catnapper lazy boy recliner before surgery, so glad I did cause I can sleep laying down yet. It's very comfy. Went for a walk around the block today. It really helps keep the gas moving. There have been a couple of days since I've been home that I've over eaten. I haven't felt hungry just eating when I'm supposed to. I can't tell what full feels like yet. I ended up in misery a few nights. Talked with my bariatric coordinator today and she said I shouldn't eat if I'm not hungry. I was worried maybe I wasn't eating enough. Back to liquids today. Fell much better. Will be extra careful and slow when I start back on purred food.

Omg. Can't sleep. I leave for the hospital in like 2 1/2 hours. So nervous and excited. I would like to thank everyone for sharing their experience and offering so much hope and encouragement. See you on the losers bench!!! [emoji51] and Happy Valentines Day [emoji257][emoji178]

EGD on February 9th went very well. (I don't remember a thing). Lol. Visit with the anesthesiologist on Monday, then Surgery the next day. Tuesday February 14, 2017. I thought this day would never come. I'm so ready for this. Bring it on. I'm can't wait to start living a healthy and more active life. I can see the future and it's full of bike rides, hiking with my fur babies and kayaking with my hubby. Best wishes to all. Only my family and a coworker who is also going to have the surgery. To many people just don't get it. They think this is the easy way out. But nothing can be farther from the truth. I don't want to hear all the na Sayers opinions on the matter. I've done the research and know this is the right choice for me.

It's not uncommon to have to appeal. Most times if you appeal they will come back with the ok. Also your doctor should not schedule surgery until after your insurance approval. Keep your head up and appeal!
