I started July 2016 , my surgery date is Feb 13. (Tomorrow). My insurance and program required 6 month weight loss and hitting target weight before surgery.

I'm having my surgery at Geisinger in Danville PA.

My surgery date was originally 01/23, but due to an insurance issue around where I'm having surgery, my date was pushed to 02/13. They let me know 4 days before surgery,so I was on my liquid diet, I now have to start all over again on 02/01. I was fighting NOT to get the CPAP machine because I knew I would hate it. It is definitely going back after surgery. I have tried using it every night since I have it..I haven't used it a full night yet. My surgery date is Jan.23, so I'm day 6 of my liquid diet. I feel starved but I'm hanging tough. Good luck with your machine...I would send you mine , but I have to have it for my surgery date. Good luck! Keep fighting with the company, don't let this be the reason for a surgery date change!
