  16. I can't believe it has been 1 year since my surgery, it has gone by so fast. I am so thankful that I got the opportunity to have this surgery and become a healthier, happier, and more confident version of myself. It's crazy to think that I am down 134 pounds from my highest weight and down 119 pounds since surgery. Best decision I have ever made! HW 285 CW 151 GW 150 Can't seem to drop this last pound but I'm sure once I stop stressing I will lose it. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. I tried the Aquaphor and my lips felt so much better overnight. Now I only use it a few times a day and I'm good. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. That's exactly what it feels like. I was the same way, I had everything planned out and was set on getting the sleeve too. But once I changed my mindset and started doing all of my RNY research, I started to get excited. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. I feel like I just read my own story. I went through the exact same thing as you and I was so upset that I was advised not to get the sleeve because of Barretts esophagus. I did what was best for my health and decided to go with RNY so I wouldn't have to deal with any GERD issues. So on 7-27-17 I had my RNY and it was the best thing I ever did. Do your research on it, but it's not the end if the road for you, it's just the beginning Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. That's what I have been using yesterday and today and I only have to put it on 3 times a day. I was using chapstick all day and night. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  27. That's what someone else brought up to me too. I've been adding a little more peanut butter to my diet to see if that helps. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  32. I'm a little over 3 months out from surgery and have extremely chapped lips. I'm getting all my water and vitamins in and have tried a few different types of chapstick but nothing helps. I have to keep putting it on throughout the day and night. Anyone else experience this? Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  33. I have Tricare Standard and we are stationed at JBLM in Washington State. I went through the 6 nutrition counseling and all of the requirements and had surgery on 7-27-17. It was super easy with Tricare...just had to jump through all the hoops Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  34. I had the same thing. I twisted a lot one day and felt like I pulled a muscle. It got worse and worse and lasted about a week. Horrible pain and I could not get comfortable in any position. My doctor said that they use glue on all the incisions except for one. They use stitches and they are actually sutured to the muscle. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
