    No weight loss?

Yeah and your body is still swollen from the major surgery you had! It's all gonna come off don't worry :')
  2. Three weeks post op, just finished my first stall, and (5weeks total) down thirty pounds! I hope everyone is seeing results too:')
  3. Last week was absolutely awful, but this week is so amazing. I had no idea how I was going to stop the cravings and control myself, but I went through the sugar withdrawals and I'm on the other side. I feel like I have more energy, I'm happier, I'm more alert and less foggy headed. I feel great. Tell me, do I feel like this after bypass too? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    PCOS hair and period issues

Lmao you just made my day that's hilarious, mostly because it's true ahah
  5. I'm two weeks out and i feel AMAZING. i went outside and did some gardening. i have so much energy, i don't feel like being lazy any more. This surgery has given me so much energy. Before, I was so sluggish and slow and never had any energy. I can even see my face slimming down. I was a bit freaked out though because two days before surgery I had ended my period. and then three days after my surgery, I started a super heavy and lasted like a week. but then i started reading on here and found out it was normal. That was last week, so no new update. I stopped Metformin because I was only taking it to help with weight loss, and so I kind of stopped on my own. I'm so super happy for you though! :') that is so exciting to have so much progress! And I see on here that everyone loses at different paces. I would love to be friends. it would be so awesome to go through this journey with you!

    PCOS hair and period issues

Agh, i feel so doomed. how unfair. thank you for replying to me. this hair is so awful, even when i put on makeup, my foundation shows off my facial hair more (the light fuzz hair) its so annoying and embarrassing. and im sure you know how I feel, thank you. I hope all goes well for you!
  7. Hey everyone! I had my gastric bypass on February 15th! I have had PCOS since I was 16. I was put on Metformin as well. My dad who has diabetes was also taking Metformin, so it was kind of awkward. anyway, I would love love LOVE a friend to go through this with!
  8. I finally have a date! I feel like I'm being swept off my feet. I keep hearing the date over and over in my ears. I cant believe a year ago, I didn't even know there was such a cure, and here I am about to start living the healthy life I deserve. Its becoming real and I absolutely can not wait. I only know a few people who have gone through this, but I would welcome any comments or support!
  9. I'm sorry if this is tmi to post but I don't know what to do. I'm going to call my doctor but I want to know if anyone else has experienced this. I woke up this morning to blood in my underwear. It was a huge amount of vaginal discharge. It looked like it could be period blood but I ended my period about a week ago. And it didn't start out light and then get heavier, it looks like it all came out at the same time. I'm newish to the forums so if someone already posted about this is missed it and I'm sorry. But please if you have any idea what's going on please help
  10. Healing at home is much more comfortable I'm excited for you and your new journey!
  11. Ah you're right. They tested me at the hospital for yeast infection and just said that I have a lot of keytones in my blood (can someone explain that???) but you're right it definitely could have developed. Thank you for the help!
  12. My surgery was last Wednesday. I have dropped 22 pounds since pre op diet! (3 weeks total) I'm so happy! I'm sleeping better than I ever have, thinking more clearly, having more energy. This has been the best decision of my life. Only complication in hospital was drainage tube causing major pain, and then some soreness out of surgery but I called the doc up and got that fixed. And now I just feel fantastic! How's everyone else doing?
  13. I was on a blood thinner shot while at the hospital but I'm off now. I'm only on antacid and pain medicine but it seems my blood is coming out at a fast rate like yours!!! I'm taking celebrate pills as well. I just tried inserting a tampon though and there is some MAJOR tenderness, too much to where I couldn't insert it! I think I'm going to have to call my doctor and see what's up. So the bleeding stopped when you started taking the prescribed meds?

  15. Phew thank you guys so much I was scared
  16. Oh my gosh I hope you feel better!!
  17. I would just like to say I've received an abundant amount of support that I truly treasure. The pain has been quite unbearable at times especially the further away from the anastesia I get. Hopefully I'll get to go home today. But no matter what happens or joke I feel, I am so happy I got this surgery.
  18. I just had my surgery Wednesday! (2/15) and it's my first full day home. Even with the pain from the surgery I'm so happy I did it. Good luck everyone! This month is life changing!
  19. Ahh you guys were right I'm slowly starting to feel better! Thank you. It's hard getting these liquids in and every time I try to get some protein in my body wants to come to a complete stop. Your first week how much liquids were you able to get in?
  20. You go girl!! You're almost there!
  21. Thank you so so much! I sincerely appreciate this. I'm gonna get up and walk right now! How long after walking do thy go away?
  22. Thank you! When I left the hospital the pain started to come back so I'm just waiting for my prescription to be filled. How is everyone else doing?
  23. Oh my gosh thank you. I absolutely can't wait to get home and get comfy
  24. Going home today! Had mine done 2/15/17 it was painful and uncomfortable at first but I'm still so delighted that I got it.
