Oh another thing I had found it hard to get my 64oz of liquid by just sipping but u gotta do it.... make sure you get your 60-80g of Protein... thats something I'm struggling with now but I just ordered me some Protein shakes

I'm already taking protein. Puritans pride is cool. Buy one and get 2 free deals. Saves a lot of money

@@hectorlopez323, congratulations on your New Year surgery date? Do you have to pay any copays or coinsurance? I'm mad because I have to since my surgery won't be until February.

I'm not in California.

My plan says 1000 deductible. I'll find out on the 22nd when I go for my preop. A lot of plans in cali don't cover it. I got lucky my boss who's the project manager helped me transfer to a union site with better healthcare. She believes this surgery will help me and has been very supportive since I been wanting this

Good luck to you!!! At my pre-op, which was yesterday actually, I met with the admitting people at the hospital and had an EKG and some bloodwork. I don't have Kaiser, and i've never been to the hospital where my surgery will be at, so i was soooo lost. Hahahha. Thankful that everyone there was helpful in directing me around!

Hi manda. I'm gonna email my surgeon tomorrow. I got an ear Infection and it turned into bell's palsy. Trust me this thing sucks. Half my face is paralyzed

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
