You look amazing! I'm your same height and my current weight is about the same as your starting weight, so your pics are super inspirational.

Wow, I woke up to some amazing comments, thanks everyone!! I'm glad I can inspire a few folks.

@@Heather I I've been focused on intake and increasing my activity level overall. I'm a pretty active person outside of structured exercise. That being said, I'm definitely 'soft' and pudgy all around and need to get some toning in. I'm just really horrible at that. I need to find something that I love to do and can stick with because my will power in going to the gym is null.

@@Jersey4sexy You can do it!! You are starting at a lower BMI so your skin will probably bounce right back :) It depends on the elasticity of your skin, body type, and age. If you're still in your 20s or 30s, you're in luck -- your age will significantly help. As for what you will eat after surgery, there is a lot of information in this forum about that. Look at the pre and post surgery section for help, but ultimately, you'll follow your surgeon's eating plan.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
