So my surgery was 12/2 I started at 303lbs day of surgery I was 276 weight now is 248 but I have bounced between 248 and 251 for the last 4 weeks Dr said that my body was in healing mode n just stick to the plan. He told me that I had put my body through a lot day of surgery everything was great surgery was a success but the next day I had a bad reaction to the morphine it was shutting down my organs n slowly killin me. My kidneys had shut down my liver was shutting down also my b/p was 54/30 oxygen was 70 heart rate 30 so instead of the nice 24 hr stay I was takin to icu n I stayed there for 5 days so my question is Is anyone else just stalled in the 6th to 9th week I believe is what I'm at So frustrated HELP

Yes lord... I had surgery 12/5/16 and I have had several stalls... none of the complications you had but I still had stalls so you are not alone.

I thought I had joined this group, but apparently didn't do it correctly! Can you send me an invite? My surgery date was Dec. 19. Thank you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
