Where is the weight coming off?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I started the pre-OP liquid diet on Nov 1 at 351 lbs. In the past two weeks Ive cut roughly 26lbs from my overall weight. I was just wondering where do people typically start noticing a difference?

You're very fortunate for such rapid loss. I'm in my 10th week post-op and am down 34 lbs :) I'm still happy with my slower progress as well though. For me it's coming off proportionate overall, though I am down 2 bra sizes and my current one is starting to get loose. Not where I want to lose it :)

Butt. I dropped pant size pretty quickly. While my arms too reduced, too much skin making it hard to go down passed XL in long sleeves. Sleeveless I'm already in a M or L.

Everywhere! Most notably my gut, which is where I carried most of my weight anyway.

Depends on where the person is looking....

The higher your starting weight, the longer it takes people to notice. I started at 247, and no one noticed until about 215. It really showed in my face first.

My face, boobs (down two bra sizes) and waist/belly. Legs and hips, not so much, yet. (visualize a pear, lol).

In my belly some (skin is trying to kiss in the middle), the thighs for sure and even in the naughty bits!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
