Whylers Light Lemonade singles to go. 5 calories, but worth it twice a day (32 ozs). And I keep myself to only one monster rehab (10 calories) per day (16 ozs). One cup of coffee per day (8 ozs). All the rest Water.

Water, ice and Water, water and ice, slushy water, crystallized water. I drank the Arnold Palmer Arizona lemonade ice tea... and the Gold Peak lemonade ice tea before surgery. I buy the Arnold Palmer teas from costco for my daughter to take in her lunch because its only like 50 calories per serving but it's still pretty good without the fake sugar taste/aftertaste. So I just drink water and will keep the Arizona for a treat. I'll try the zero calorie one but I don't usually like zero calorie beverages.

@@PorkChopExpress I haven't used the GENEPRO in a cold liquid yet...there's no grittiness or chalkiness? I use it every single morning in my coffee and am a huge fan.

No, it's really pretty smooth. You don't want to shake it, because it froths up like crazy...but when you stir it in, it dissolves really nicely. It's a very fine powder, almost like the consistency of powdered sugar.

@@PorkChopExpress Thanks! I love the powdery consistency of GENEPRO, I'm going to try it in a glass of tea later :)

It basically just makes it look kind of milky and white, and you do get a LITTLE taste of the Protein in the drink, but it's not bad. Totally fine to me and a welcome change from chocolate shakes, which I was sick to death of.

I'm very boring, plain old Water and it has to be room temperature. Cold still hurts my sleeve. I also drink coffee every day. And very occasionally I might have an unsweetened iced Tea with lemon.

@@Sai I'm not a fan of sucralose either, so I've been making my own infused waters as well...

I'm curious about your homemade kefir...can you share how you do it?

I like the drops you put in Water, or I get Powerade Zero or VitaminWater Zero (açai blueberry yum).

You have to watch the drops though... some of them are energy drinks and have caffeine in them.

It's super easy and fun. I've been doing it for years now. First you get 1 tablespoon of kefir grains (can buy it from Amazon or have a friend send to you since it really multiplies hehe), you add that tablespoon to 1 or 2 cups of milk, leave it out at room temperature for 24 hrs, strain the grains off, and you have kefir. :D You reuse the grains over and over. I still have the original grains from years ago.

To the strained off kefir, you can put it in smoothies, and use just like yogurt but it has waaaay more Probiotics than yogurt, more strains to protect you from illnesses. Then with the strained kefir grains, you just add that into new milk and you do it over and over. It's easier to watch the video below :) as I'm not ept enough to explain it hehe. It's a great hobby too!

Here is my favorite youtube video (it healed this girl from Crohn's disease):

Great! Yeah, that stuff is very versatile, even if it's a touch pricey. I guess you get what you pay for!

@@PorkChopExpress You're my new favorite person!! The tea with GENEPRO was fantastic...yay!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
