how long did you stay out of work.....

@@TanishaP

people take different time away from work/recuperation

a few days, 2 weeks, you are thinking about taking one month?? :o

a month seems like a long time, but.... if you have the time, go for it

better to "sign" up for lots of time off and go back sooner than later

as for me, i took NOOOO time off from work

i immediately went back to my retired status ;)

speedy recovery

good luck

I'm taking a month off as I do a lot of driving. But also the recovery is one side of the coin, the food/supplement is the other AND there is A LOT to learn and you also have no idea how your body will react to the foods afterwards. Take a a much as you can. You CAN always go back to work early.

I requested 6 weeks but went back after 4.5 weeks. The fatigue was bad plus I required iv fluids x 3 during that time. I do alot of lifting and pulling in my job. I had rny and hernia repair. A coworker had the sleeve and returned to work after a week.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
