I started at 219 and am down to 183

That is 36 lbs surgery was march 22

But i feel great and go to gym 5x a week. 53 more to go.

  • 1 month later...

I lost 99 pounds pre-op -- and that was six-months leading up to my sleeve on September 28. I have lost 111 pounds total as of today (October 6).

The higher the BMI, the quicker the loss. I've seen people lose 100 pounds in 6 months, and I've seen them lose it in a year or more. I never quite got to 100, but it took me about 15 months to lose 93. I was a slow poke.

How much did u weigh

Starting weight was 294 but surgery day weight was 255. Was at 100 pounds from the highest weight in 5 or 6 months. 100 pounds from surgery date was about 7 or 8 months. Total lost 174 pounds.

I started the program in October 2015, weighed 298. One year later, 5 months post surgery, I am 187. YAY!

It was so long ago I don't remember when I hit the 100 pound mark, but it took a month Preop plus 18 months postop to lose 160 pounds. I started with a BMI of 50.

Today I hit the 100 lb loss mark - 199

Not since the surgery, but since my highest weight which prior to surgery was 300.

I am still in disbelief that there is not a "2" before my weight.

I was not one of those fast losers but slow and steady with a few stalls and here I am exactly one year and 4 days out of surgery. I'd wanted to lose the 100 in the first year and here it is!

thank you so much - coming back to this site I have felt so much less alone in this, and Ive stopped being hard on myself for not losing faster!

My SW was 272 Hit 100 around the end of 5th month/beginning of 6th month. No stalls to date.

CW 164- ish ( scale always bounces for a couple days before it drops to its next weight) so

Down 108 since surgery 6.5 months ago RNY

I'm also very very active and follow my program to a T.

I'm 7 months out and have lost 93lbs. Currently in a stall... not worrying I know I'll get there soon enough. just remember everyone's body is different and we all loose at different rates.

Starting weight was 353. Lost 100 pounds by 4.5 months. Still averaging 2 lbs a week with mild exercise and sticking with the eating plan my nutritionist gave me. This means no cheating. I will NEVER go back to my old habits or weight.

I'm coming back to this to say that it's only been 2 months and I've already lost 40 pounds. Starting weight was 255. My doctor thinks I'll be 180 by the beginning of December. :)

I'll be happy to be around or under 200 by then. My goal is to be 120 by June. I'll just have to add more exercise to my routine.
