Overeating : Low Carb v. Moderation

I was told because my metabolism is slow i should stay away from carbs fir now. I am 5 months post op and have consistently lost 6 lbs each month and am up to 44 lbs lost. This past month i have had a slice of Italian bread once and that satisfied me. I am scared to death of gaining this weight back and i have 40 more to lose. So I continue to exercise which will be a way of life like brushing my teeth.

I am a slow loser they say i have a decreased T3 i am 5 mos out and lost 44 lbs. i have to go to gym treadmil and bike 5x a week and strength training 3x a week. It is what it us andvthey cant give me anything for it so i have to work extra hard to lose and keep it off but now that i have regained my mobility now that i can tie my shoes cross my legs i will work as long as i have to and for thevrest of my life. Oh i live on sugar free ice pops to get the water in also. T3 is a slow metabolism.

    Stretching stomach in the beginning

I was told 3-4 iz no more at a time. Wait 30 minutes before drinking cuz that can stretch your stomach. And that's lifetime. Absolutely no carbonated drinks Ever!!! I see my nutritionist once a month faithfully. She guides me with what to do !!if you dont have a nutritionist you need one for sure.

  20. Hi im in Westchester had it done at Westchester Medical on March 22 I started at 219 am down 35 lbs I feel great and everyone is starting to notice i am short so it showed more I go to gym 5xa week now and feel great. We just walked thru Disney for a week and survived to tell the tale. Good luck make sure you do what the doctor tells you too and you walk!! Its imperative that you move when you get home. I started walking as soon as I got home and drink the fluids. It won't be easy but your nutritionist will give you alternatives. I hope this helps
