Very emotional and need support

Recommended Posts

My husband has joked a few times about "WLS divorce" and has had a couple of moments where he's even admitted that he's scared I will get more attention and find someone better and leave him. 13 years of ups and downs and a really strong relationship and he still brings it up... so it's definitely a fear that our partners can have even in the healthiest of relationships. Having said though, I agree with some of the other comments on here - if your partner truly isn't like this on a normal basis, it's probably just really really strong insecurities manifesting themselves in the worst way. If he's been like this already and it's just getting worse now that you're doing something positive for yourself,

@@Admanda you really DO deserve better, and your son deserves a good male role model, and a healthy example of what a relationship should be and how both parties should be treated respectfully. I'm glad that you're working to get everything together so that after surgery you can make that move. You'll find lots of support here. All the love and hugs and positivity to you...

I'm really glad to see that you're making a good plan for your life. If you are a Christian, put your faith in God and let Him guide you. You can do all things thru Christ who strengthens you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
