  4. I haven't logged into BariatricPal in a few weeks and it's funny that this should be on the top of the list for current topics. I'm 5 days postop and I am really wishing I had some help with this pain as well. The Zofran makes me throw up and the Tylenol codine is hit or miss at this point. This post has convinced me to talk to my cousin about what my best route would be. I'm thinking a vape also bc I hate pipe smoking and I don't have anywhere private to smoke anyway atm. I have the sublingual tincture but I don't feel like it's ever helped much. I'm gonna try it right now to see if things have changed since surgery. I only partake in edibles when I can't handle the pain of XYZ. That time is now. Lol. I have the best candies too . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. I understand you're upset. I would be furious. This isn't the end though. You are still here, so unless today is your last day on earth, don't give up! You are worthy of this and you are worthy of doing this for yourself. You will get your surgery, dust yourself off and keep going, because you are definitely worth it.

  10. Yikes that sucks! Would you have the ability to take the classes in Orange County? I mean if you have to redo the course, you might as well see if you can do it in a shorter period of time. Sorry this happened to you.

  12. Omg I meet with my surgeon on Thursday for my preop appointment!! I am nervous yet excited. It just so happens they scheduled me with the same surgeon my next door neighbor had her surgery with. She went in for her preop and he liked what her charts said and how much weight she had lost and scheduled her for surgery the very next day! What!!! Although I wouldn't mind the same quickness, I am hoping for the week right after Christmas. Whatever he has, I will take it!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. My 22 yo daughter had the implant last year. Woke up one Sunday with horrible pain shooting up and down her arm not able to move it at all. Wound up in the ER and had to have the implant removed due to it being stuck on one of her veins. Now they have a beautiful 5 day old baby girl . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I thought I was the only one that couldn't use hormonal birth control. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I've had both the copper IUD and the Mirena IUD. I would never ever recommend the Mirena to anyone. I had the worst side effects from it and the worst part is my doctors made keep it in for six months because "my body needed time to adjust". What a crock of shit. BUT. Everyone is different. I can't say you will have all the side effects or none. Personally I would never recommend it to anyone. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  26. I love having FSA! I completely forgot about it too. Thanks for the reminder! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  27. Congratulations!! I hope all goes well!
  28. FYI, for Kaiser Orange County (CA), they won't do your surgery until you've lost the 10%. My sister's friend just had it done this week & I asked her why she had to wait so long and she said because she hadn't lost the 10% yet. Also I would try colon cleansers, the human body can store several pounds of waste.
  29. That is really awesome! Congratulations!!!Please message me emme Just did! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  31. Haha, I have to remember that: clean the bathroom. I am drinking tons and tons of Water. I believe yesterday I had 160 ounces. Yes, 20 cups of water. Monday I had 14 cups of water. It was just the PMS. I'm fine now lol.
  32. That was an interesting article. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  33. I am on day 4 and doing better lol. I figured out my problem with the self doubt and crabbiness, it was the PMS. Hahaha. I've been ok today and was just thinking I'm not even gonna be hungry for lunch. I feel like the premier Protein shakes fill me up more than I thought they would. I had one today as well as some cottage cheese and I feel really full. Like as if I just ate full. We'll see how the day plays out. I have plenty of high protein Snacks at work in case I do get hungry. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
