Had surgery on the 6th! What a rough start. Was held at the hospital until this morning because I couldn't keep anything down. Now Aunt Flo has come to make her monthly visit!! Oh mamamia. What a journey but I'm FINALLY on the bench!!

Mine was very similar to yours. Had surgery on the 3rd, had to stay longer due to not keeping anything down but my Aunt Flo came a few days before! It was horrifying. We still made it to the other side though :)

I had GS on the 4th going well except have a really bad pain in my abdomen near my belly button that has made it hard to walk around. All else is good. Did anyone else have that pain? Any advice?

Band to Bypasser here scheduled for October 31st! Had success with the band until it got a leak about 1.5 years ago and now weigh 30 lbs more than my highest weight before the band. Did develop quite a bit of acid reflux/heartburn in the latter stages of my band experience but had the band removed almost 6 months ago and it has completely resolved. Feeling nervous, anxious, scared and a bit skeptical but mostly feeling hopeful. Have been scouring the web and o.d.ing on YouTube videos just ready for the surgery date to get here now. Have my pre-op appt. October 21st and will start pre-op liquid diet then. Congrats and good luck to all my fellow GBer's. Looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing our journeys!

I'm scheduled for 1 week from today. I'm very nervous, but excited to have this behind me. This will be my second week on the liquid diet and actually it hasn't been that terrible. How's everyone else doing today?

Thank you so much. I can't wait to wear normal size clothes :)

Does anyone have any suggestions for nausea? I had vsg on the 6th and can't seem to get rid of it. Everytime I drink water I feel like it gets worse and I've never felt that way before!

Did you get a prescription for anything?? If not - call your surgeon. You can try some ginger tea or peppermint tea - but you'll probably need an anti-nausea med for a few weeks.
