  4. I started using straws right away, it actually helped me, I kept swallowing air when I sipped without one Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm a little over a month post op and my stomach area has been really sore the past couple of days....kinda feels like I've been doing ab exercises non stop especially if I push on my abdomen. Has anybody else experienced this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I got a little freaked out the first couple of weeks because I could eat more than 2oz. But now I feel way more restriction, I think maybe it's cause the nerves are more healed and therefor the full signals are sharper or more obvious. Sometimes if I eat too fast I won't feel it right away but when i finally do I'll feel extremely stuffed and uncomfortable so that's something I need to work on. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I'm only 4 weeks out at can drink Water almost completely normal. Anything else takes a while, even if it's just juice Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Only drink Water. No more than 30g of carbs, lots of Protein. I lost 10lbs in 1 week Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. I drink mine mixed with a premier Protein shake in the mornings. I'm 4 weeks post op. It definitely helps with getting my bowels moving, feels a lot better than using a laxative Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Then it's most likely your body healing. I've read about how some people lose really slow at first and then they'll have rapid weightloss instead of rapid first and then slow down. It sounds like you're doing everything you should be so just be patient:) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. Everyone is so different from what I've seen. My surgery weight was 226 and now I'm 208.8 in 3 1/2 weeks. Make Protein and fluids your priority and do a lot of walking if you aren't already (as long as you're comfortable) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Does having diarrhea mean you're experiencing this? Or is it only when you're also feeling ill? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Just experienced my first dumping syndrome. It's awful! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  17. My boyfriend and sister did that to me while I was in the hospital Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Gas pains for a few days, that's it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. I had eggs around day 5, no problems. It really depends on the person and your program. Mine allowed it right away Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. I've heard nothing but great things about dr Kelly Ramos and Fernando Garcia. If I didn't get approved by insurance I would've gone to one of the two Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
