Did you get a prescription for anything?? If not - call your surgeon. You can try some ginger tea or peppermint tea - but you'll probably need an anti-nausea med for a few weeks.I have an appointment today and I'm deff gonna let them know. I'll try the tea out. Thank you so much! eriirosee

Does anyone have any suggestions for nausea? I had vsg on the 6th and can't seem to get rid of it. Everytime I drink water I feel like it gets worse and I've never felt that way before! eriirosee

Had surgery on the 6th! What a rough start. Was held at the hospital until this morning because I couldn't keep anything down. Now Aunt Flo has come to make her monthly visit!! Oh mamamia. What a journey but I'm FINALLY on the bench!! eriirosee

Hello Sleevers! I start my liquid diet on September 22nd and I'm nervous for that but even more nervous that surgery is coming up so quickly. I suffer from anxiety and depression! I was just wondering how everything went for others who suffer from this. I don't wanna freak out the day of surgery and not go through with it. eriirosee

Well everyone... I caved and ate food on my third day in of my pre-op liquid diet. I went into Walmart and legitimately bought my Protein shakes and sugar free Jello etc. I paid then walked out to my car, loaded the groceries and said fu*k it I'm going to Subway! I consciously made this decision. I'msatisfied that I'm full but now a nervous wreck that I just messed everything up. Surgery is in 11 days. October 6th. Has anyone else cheated?! eriirosee

Don't worry! Now that I'm a few days in I am slowly feeling better and so will you. Just keep reminding yourself why you're doing this! eriirosee Yeah that is what I keep telling myself. Plus I want to lose a good 20lbs during this liquid diet. I know it can be done so that is my goal. lol Go for it girl!! You got thiss. eriirosee

I cheated a couple times during my pre-op diet...one in the very beginning of my 10 days and the other just a couple days before surgery....it's hard, I understand. But I had my surgery on Sept 7th and all went well. Now I'm just trying to get my energy back in line. I wish you well on your journey!!! I really like the boost carb control in chocolate! Slim Fast strawberry is good too. I just started my pre-op liquid diet today. I have tried many shakes before choosing but my nutritionist gave me a list of the allowed shakes so just make sure you can have them before trying them! Save yourself the moneyy. eriirosee
