Puree/Soft Foods start today!

Recommended Posts

Had a soft scrambled egg with some cheese in it as my first meal. Made a whole egg, filled my 2oz condiment cup with some and used my kiddie spoon. Ate about 1/2 the container which looks to be about 1/4 to 1/3 of the egg. Chewed it to death. BEST. EGG. EVER.

Hardest part was not drinking but waiting 45 minutes and drinking now.

It gets even better as you add more foods. I had fun rediscovering food and stretching my mind a little to be creative, especially when eating out.

I have been the same! I LOVE a poached egg now but so keen to get to soft foods and then onto normal stuff!

I had a half of a scrambled egg yesterday. Next time I am going to mix it with brushetta I hate the taste of eggs.

I love the Ricotta Bake. Some people say it's too dry but I have not found that to be the case. It's just nice to have something with flavor! Today, I took a can of no sugar added peach slices, drained, rinsed and pureed them. I had a tablespoon over my cottage cheese. It was delish! Ah, the simple fact!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
