Protein meal replacement

Recommended Posts

Okay I was sleeved on June 7th, I'm on phase two of my liquid diet... But the Protein shakes or drinks aren't agreeing with me at all! I get nauseous. I have tried different brands, flavors and still can't. Has anyone else had this issue? I have always enjoyed Protein Shakes now my tummy doesn't like them... And I really need them now !! Any suggestions??

when you fix your Protein drinks what do you use?

you may need something like fairlife milk which doesn't have lactose. perhaps that is an issue for you? not sure.

Try Core Power. Its lactose free and not as heavy as some of the others.

Have you tried the shakes at different temperatures? I found that I could only tolerate mine at room temperature. Others could only tolerate them warmed like hot chocolate, etc.

I just warmed up my Protein Shake, as for Water it has to be slightly cooler than room temperature not too hot not too cold or it comes right back out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
