Within a couple months of my surgery I started to notice that I wasn't sweating all the time anymore. Before, just going grocery shopping would leave me wet and sweaty. I am now six months out from surgery and I am definitely experiencing the feelings of being very cold at times, but do not seem to be directly related to the temperature or the weather. It's not all the time, but it has been happening for the last couple of months.

I started feeling cold right after surgery. I think it lasted about 2 months and now I feel normal.

When I had my one month check up with my surgeon, I told him about the first night home from surgery and being so cold I was chattering and shivering. He said it is normal after surgery and has a lot to do with hormones. I'm not complaining; I'd rather have to put a sweater on than not be able to take more clothes off (you get to a point where you are naked and still sweating!!!).

@@Renkoss I had never thought about the possibility of hormones affecting it! I know my hormones are all over the place right now!

@@Inner Surfer Girl that makes sense too! I was cold from the day after surgery on.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
