  20. My scale has not been budging much at all for the past couple months. I do the same thing and drop 4-5 pounds and then stay there for a while. I am pretty close to hitting under 200 which makes me even more anxious to see it move. Hard to believe we are 6 months out! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. I had surgery on Wednesday and went back the following Monday. I would have liked at least that week off, not because of pain but I still felt tired and a little groggy. Other than that it was great. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. How is your recovery going? We obviously all heal differently.. The support I've received on this forum has been nothing short of phenomenal! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I feel like it has been a breeze for the most part! I feel very blessed. I agree-I love being able to come here with my questions! Great job & continue to inspire people! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. I did stockpile some soups and broths, and ended up not using most of them. I was surprised at how little I could eat for quite a while and how big of portions I had frozen. I ended up using them later on for cooking once I got to the regular foods phase. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  27. @@jessjames I just chuckled to myself when I read your comment about getting the 'foamies' only because I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!! Sometimes I feel like I just need a little sip of Water after I have eaten something that hasn't set well, and it ends badly every time! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  30. I agree! It is very sad! It upsets me that my friends would have rather seen me in poor health and miserable! I guess sometimes even though I know it is a problem within them that I still take it a little personally! Those that truly love me and want the best for me see how my quality of life has changed and they are supportive, it's just sad that the people we thought were best friends couldn't be too! 31. Hi everyone! Quick question, I was wondering if anyone has been tracking calories? My scale is stuck at 219, so I am trying to evaluate my intake of everything... I'm at 5 months exactly today, wondering what avg calorie count for others is right now? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  32. I feel like I have lost my best friends after the surgery. Maybe someday they will be able to see past themselves and be 'friends' again, but for now I have learned who I can trust and although I'm not really secretive about my surgery, I don't share details at all. I know it is just their own insecurities that make them the way they are, but at first I took it personally. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
