Anyone else set for 4/20 or there abouts?

Submitted my paperwork with my surgeon and it is being sent off to my insurance. They gave me a tentative date for 4/20 at 7 AM!!! Both my pre-op appt and hospital registration appointments are set too. Totally stoked and excited and nervous!

Any one else having their surgery and/or tentatively scheduled your sleeve surgery for around 4/20ish? Would love to hear from ya, if so!

I start my pre op on the 9th for surgery on 12th. Starting today, 2 weeks pre op I can only take Tylenol as pain med. my doctor recommends that I try to stay away from solid food as much as I can but I don't think I'll be able to.

4/23 and start pre-op liquid diet 4/16....

I am hoping for April ! My first appointment is Tuesday; and will do 4 weeks of classes. I am in Fort Wayne IN. Where is everyone else having their surgery? I think I have to do 4 weeks of the Optifast drinks before surgery. Anyone else?

I'm set for April 25, 2016. First doctor visit was 07/15/2015 so it has been a long process. Start my liquid diet on April 11. Insurance is covering it, but with a $3200 deductible, it is still going to be difficult. I think insurance companies need to lower their requirements and speed up the process. If it weren't for my stubborn determination, I would have given up. I can't wait!

I'm set for 4/13 ...no time yet. Started my program in May 2015 so it's been a long process. The nice part is that there is no pre op diet per say. Only Clear liquids the day before. Even I can do that. . . Jello counts.

I'm April 13 as well, with only one day of clear liquid. I'm relived because I've heard so many that have had to go two weeks with clear liquids before surgery. Let me know how your surgery goes.

You've got it @Billsmafia. I'm freaking out a bit but surely I can manage. Where are you having surgery? I'm in Massachusetts.

It's interesting to me the different requirements among surgeons. My pre op diet is a lot less strict than some I have heard. They said I just need to stick to 1000 calories per day.

In Huntsville (North Alabama). I'm not nervous at all, but my wife, on the other hand, is freaking out a bit. Where is yours happening?

I'm headed to Worcester Massachusetts. I've debated for quite a while. I know we'll all be good.
