New Year, New Start Challenge- OFFICIAL thread
Count me in. I'm almost 9 months post op and stalled right at BMI of 30 - I want to get back in and cross over from obese to overweight. Current weight 174.8. I'd like to lose 10 pounds during the challenge. Going back to premier shakes for breakfast. Not sure about other meals yet. Very uninspired by all things low carb. Struggles
In my early days I experimented with some new Soups and just had the broth while they ate the Soup, then as my diet progressed I blended them. It made me feel better early on to eat what they were eating. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

B shaped belly
I have the same belly and have wondered the same thing. I'm down almost 60 pounds and still have the belly button level roll separator. :-( Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm in Ventura and sleeved in April by Dr. Thoman in Santa Barbara. I had a band from 2001 -2013 and loving my sleeve! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I can't get in my protein shakes.
Everything made me want to puke for about a week after surgery. Zofran was a life saver for me - do you have any? In the early days the best I could do for Protein some days was fairlife milk. But again only with zofran in my system. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Protein issues... i could just cry :(
What I could tolerate pre-op and post-op were different. Pre-op I could tolerate Syntrax nectar, premier Protein strawberry, and isopure. Post op all I have been able to tolerate is chocolate Premier Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How long were you out of work?
I have a similar job. I had surgery on Monday and took that week off. Worked from home the next week, probably about 50% productive. Returned to work the following Monday exactly 2 weeks after surgery. I was a little more tired than usual but did fine. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
