Anyone else set for 4/20 or there abouts?

Submitted my paperwork with my surgeon and it is being sent off to my insurance. They gave me a tentative date for 4/20 at 7 AM!!! Both my pre-op appt and hospital registration appointments are set too. Totally stoked and excited and nervous!

Any one else having their surgery and/or tentatively scheduled your sleeve surgery for around 4/20ish? Would love to hear from ya, if so!

You will have ebbs and flows with the numbers showing on the scale. Remember a lot of times when the scale isn't budging you're losing inches. If you haven't already I highly suggest measuring yourself. It helped motivate me when I felt like I must be doing something wrong.

Time really does fly by quickly. I don't remember what it feels like completely to be as big as I was anymore. I hope next year u can look back and see a big difference too!

I've thought of that so much before my surgery. I knew I won't remember how I feel right now, or a month ago. In fact, a few weeks before my surgery I was sitting at a four way stop in my car and looked down at myself. I looked at how my stomach touched the steering wheel and tried hard to burn this image of how uncomfortable it felt at that moment sitting in that seat. Because I knew in one year I'll be at this same four way stop, in this same seat, with all this room between my flat (flatter) stomach and I won't remember how I used to feel a year ago. Does that make sense? I know, I've gone all weird on you.

No, that's not weird at all. I did the same thing. And still do the flip side of that today. When I get in the car I look down and notice how much space there is between my tummy and the steering wheel! I do it every time I drive! Haha!
