Awesome, what did nutrients have you doing differently?

Nice job, keep up the good work!

Well I met with my surgeon and nutritionist yesterday. I've gotta do 3 months of visits and surgery will be in September. I done a lot of research and went to the visit with the intent of going with the RNY, but after discussing with my Dr, we agreed on the sleeve. Next appt is the 6/14 and Psych Evaluation on 6/16.

That's great, what made you decide to do the sleeve instead?

@@fytn4mine I had my NUT appointment today (#2) and found out I don't have to do the 6 months of supervised weight loss like I was originally told by BCBS. I am looking at September too - can't wait!

I'm hoping that I will be having my surgery around the same time, since I only have to do 2 nutrit ion appointments... I'll keep you all posted to my date!

I'm at the point where I've cleared the psych eval, I have probably one more dietician appointment. I've lost like 30 lbs since I switched my diet to the bariatric style one. I'm hoping to have surgery in July

Hi, I am in my second week

Of the insurance mandated

Of postings. Just haven't gotten very good at posting yet.

That's fine. I don't post a lot either, I'm always reading myself. What is the insurance mandated diet?

It last for 7 months! 7 proteins, 5 grains, 3 veggies, dairy and healthy fats.

1200 to1500 calories.

Then I make sure I have had all my pre testing done, and attended my 3 classes

on nutrition, exercise, and behavioral health. Meet with surgeon and doctor.

And there is one more class that last half a day about eating after surgery and what to expect.

Then surgery!
