Did you get a card from your surgeon to show to waiters that let you order off the kids menu? Are most places receptive to this?

I haven't gotten a card, but I will have to ask. I would love to go to Sweet Tomatoes, but I refuse to pay 8.99 with a coupon to eat 1/4c of lettuce and maybe a tomato if I'm lucky.

I have a card. Tried to use it twice with no success. Leftovers for the next day.

I have the card but I've been splitting a meal with my husband on the few times I've eaten out. If he's really hungry we order an extra side order of something which is cheaper than me getting a whole meal I can't eat. I'm bad about taking food home and throwing it away two days later so I try not to do that.

I'm big on left overs so I really don't need that card once in post op

got the card. I have found buffets wont honor the kids price for me regardless if I show them the card.

Soup or appetizer is my normal go to.

But I might order a kids meals if there is something decent on it or I ask for the "senior" portion of something I really want (I'm to young to actually ask for it but no one has asked to see if I have an aarp card either).

I never got a card but I'm fine with this. I usually just bring the leftovers home and my husband gets a nice meal out of it lol.
