  7. Mani pedis for small mile stones. Larger milestones, I ordered a pair of boots for 50 and a new satchel for work at 75. I still need to decide what my 100 treat will be.
  8. I had surgery September 30th and I can eat about a cup, sometimes more if the food is soft. The more dense the protein, the less I can eat. On salads I can eat about a cup and a half with a chicken breast. I asked my NUT and she said this was about on track. She is not worried because I am still losing. I average about 1000 calories a day and she would like to see it closer to 1200. I'm trying, but not pushing. I have my 6 month visit in 2 weeks and I hope to talk to her more about serving sizes. Sometimes it scares me, because I watch you tubes of people at 6 months out taking 30-45 minutes to drink a protein drink. I have one every couple of days and I can drink it in about 15 minutes. Am I going too fast? I have no idea. I do know the longer it takes, the warmer the drink. I can't do room temp food or drink. Ice cold or very hot is where my tummy likes it.

  12. I knit, crochet, spin, podcast and dye yarn. I'm in the process of turning part of my hobby into a business.
  13. Because the old fashioned way didn't work all the years I tried it. So, I have decided to do what I need to do to be happy, healthy and live longer.
  14. I set my Fitbit to give an alarm when it's time for me to eat something.
  15. I have a card. Tried to use it twice with no success. Leftovers for the next day.

  21. No one has said anything to me about this. My family would, in a very loud way. I think you just need to keep up on your dental care and keep your mouth wet by sipping all that water.
  22. Zucchini boats(hollow with a spoon)stuff with ricotta cheese and spices of choice- roast in oven. Pasta sauce for dipping.
  23. I'm 46- ex smoker and at 6 weeks out have what I call chicken skin. I have been using udder cream on my face and neck. Bar-maids.com also makes face pudding that works wonders too. I know this skin just needs time to rehydrate, but looking like the outside of a cold cut is not my idea of a fashion statement.
  24. We will hand out candy to trick or treaters. We love seeing the kids dressed up.
