Need some advice, about skin.

Okay, I admit I did not use the search feature again. I am 5 weeks post op and my skin is getting funky. I have read about 1000 creams, are there any that actually work? I am 47, and those are 47 years of VERY hard living. I smoked for a long time, have been fat, I am Bipolar, I have stress like no other human alive. Mostly I worry about my face. I do not want wrinkles. Any advice?

I'm 46- ex smoker and at 6 weeks out have what I call chicken skin. I have been using udder cream on my face and neck. Bar-maids.com also makes face pudding that works wonders too. I know this skin just needs time to rehydrate, but looking like the outside of a cold cut is not my idea of a fashion statement.

So everybody gets dry skin? I thought it was the suddenly cold weather. I never needed a moisturizer but I sure do now.

I just went to the Dermatologist & was asking her about dry feet & body, she said Vaseline was the best moisturizer. Put on feet at night with socks. A light coat on very dry areas of body rubbed in. I'm putting it on my neck & chest legs & feet. Can't go the face so I use a loreal night cream.
